Clear coat

Hi My 570 sq ' garage floor I was thinking of clear coating with Aliphatic Polyurethane . Also maybe a stain mix first of silver and charcoal to go with rear of garage where I installed black and white vinyl tiles .Any advice on this? Thanks John

Prime before you apply that urethane.

Don’t use a urethane on a floor without epoxy under it. We offer these in clear but any epoxy under a clear topcoat could yellow.

A better clear choice would be our clear SPGX one part polyurea since they can’t yellow.

Hi was thinking of a stain combo of light gray and charcoal or clean floor, acid etch then coat natural concrete with a clear gloss or semi gloss . Advice on this? What to use for stain idea or the clear finish ?Thanks John

Any acetone type stain will work well, then use the SPGX as the clear protective topcoat.

John our DeltaDye is a water-based stain and is a great choice.

The reddish/orange floor was Amber & RedOak, the other was silver mixed with lead and navy as the accent.

SEC is great.
