Have any of you guys had any experience with a clear epoxy sealer? With so many of the epoxy floor paints lifting on hot tires I want to be sure I get a brand that's secure.

After spending time in a stain/seal and concrete overlay class I have decided to go with a concrete stain for the floor with an expoxy sealer instead of a garage paint kit. The only problem is that none of the suppliers of sealers know how their products have stood up. All of them, of course, swear it won't lift.

Call Wayne at Durall MFG.. 800-466-8910 Ask him for the "Sunshine Urethane" its a hard uv rated top coat that will work awesome for your specification.. I've use this on a lot of acid stained garage floors and it work great. Kinda pricey at $99 a kit. I've also used this inside home when I acid stain.. Screw waxing and the acrylic sealers. the urethane give a deep glossy finish that can be buffed and polished out.

If you get down to Austin at all. I have a few kits in stock I could sell you as well. (i just don't ship with all the haz mat issues)

I'm down in Austin multiple times a year.

You are saying use this Urethane instead of an epoxy sealer?

Or use a sealer and then top coat with the Urethane?

I've used urethane on interior floors after staining to good effect, I was just worried about tire lift.

Sharkskin or equivalent in the top coat to keep it from getting too slippery?

You said "kit". I have 34' x 50' to coat.
