Is there a clear coat that I can apply to the current condition of my garage floor with all of its flaws? There are spots and stains however I intend to acid wash the floor. After that I'd like to apply product for that glossy clear finish.

Thanks

Acrylics won't hold up and most penetrating sealers won't give you the gloss you want. If you clean and etch your floor I would do two coats of Rust Bullet clear urethane.

Also, would the surface be overly slick when wet?

Yes, any time you improve the surface with a coating there is more chance for "slippery when wet". Thinner coatings less so and thicker more.

When selecting an anti-skid, choose one that will not cut your feet or defeat your mop. Steer clear of aluminum oxide, silica sand. Even tabular alumina if not used correctly can screw up your floor.

What would you suggest for a anti skid?
