Hi All, Waiting the arrival of the Rust Bullet concrete I ordered.
Im considering a clear top coat. The issue I have is,both sides of
the garage parking spaces have 14x7 mats that the cars sit on.
It would seem weird to me to clear under the mats,am I wrong?
Can anyone recommend a clear top coat for this application?
Thanks for listening

You do want a clear coat, and you want to clear coat the entire garage.

The mats will be fine sitting on top of the clear coat. I have 8'x16' 3/4" rubber gym mats on top of my workout area.

Use the RustBullet Duragrade Clear. You can't buy the RustBullet Concrete clear coat anymore.

Check the lot #s (date labels) on the cans. This stuff will go bad if you don't use it right away. I did 2 coats of RustBullet Concrete, color chips, 1 coat of RustBullet Concrete Clear, and 1 coat of RustBullet Duragrade Clear. I had problems with the RustBullet concrete Clear, so RustBullet had to replace it with the Duragrade Clear.

I wouldn't do less than 4 coats. I'd order 15%-20% more than you think you'll need. I got good coverage with the color. Not so much with the Clear.

Get yourself a good respirator. This stuff is nasty.

My floor's been down for a few months now. I had some problems with my application, but I'm pretty happy with the results. It looks great.
