Clear top Cost over RockSolid Polycuramine

Hi, I recently purchased and applied rock solid polycuramine to my garage floor. I have a 2 1/2 garage and only used one kit that covers 500 ft.² without knowing However it covered my entire garage and I still had some leftover and it did a pretty good coat over the entire garage however I’m not sure if it’s too thin. Where are some little issues here and there but overall it was pretty good I managed to use one box of 500 ft.² to a 2500 square-foot garage. however now it’s been a day or two since I applied the application and I’m wanting to put a clearcoat and don’t want to use rocksolid clearcoat because it’s pretty pricey and wanted to know if there are any other top clearcoat‘s that you can buy locally from Home Depot or any hardware store. Can you use Diamond topcoat clearcoat on polycuramine?

The number one rule of clear coats; Always use a product that is equal to if not greater than the color coat in terms of wear, chemical and stain resistance. Never put an inferior coating over a superior one.

Also, try to stay within the manufacturer's own line if you can in order to keep warranties intact. If two different manufacturers are used, neither will warranty their own product if used in conjunction with another manufacturer.

Rust-Oleum has not tested polycuramine for chemical adhesion with other coatings. If you use something different, it will require that you obtain mechanical adhesion. This will require that you degloss and rough up the surface of the polycuramine first before applying a new coating.

Polycuramine is the only coating with a 7 day recoat window of more polycuramine. It's not too late to apply a polycuramine clear coat without further prep.

We have had many people use our topcoats over Polycuramine without issue to our knowledge but we are not aware of the price points.

I would be interested to know how your floor is doing. Looking at the pictures it seemed to be a pretty thin coat.
