I don't have a grinder with a deadman switch but I have had a few times where I wish mine did. The wp 1200 at ~$53 shipped seemed like a decent deal.

Still a couple of grinders (German made) under $120, which is a excellent deal.

Man that's a screaming deal. Too bad I missed it. It would have been worth it to pick up a spare ! Or two. Or three ?

I wouldn’t say they’re my primary online retailer but I’ve defiantly used them on and off the last few years and haven’t really had issues, ordered an impact on clearance last week and got it a few days ago

Just saying. They aren't an outright scam but I've had my own couple instances of needing to call 2-3 weeks later to prod them to ship when they advertise shipping within 3-5 days. Not sure if they operate out of a house or what but their shipping reliability *****.

On the plus side the people on the other end of the phone are quite pleasant and will often upgrade your shipping to 2-day. Still, they need to get their act together.

Does Tool Barn have a history of not shipping orders?

I don't know about that but they have a history of marginal - at best - customer service. I no longer consider them in any of my online purchases, life's too short

I ordered the 5420. Came today. Either got lucky or they are getting better.
