Hello,
I am looking to purchase a hydraulic floor jack and jack stands for my son.
I have looked at the US JACK and the lowest height on the D-41608 is 19" or the US JACK D-41610 lowest height is 16.25".

The floor jack I am looking at is the HW93642 2 ton jack which has a maximum lift height of 20''.

Will the 20" lift be enough?

Thanks for your help.

Don't ask.
What type of vehicle(s) will he be working on and what type of work?
20" should be fine for working on wheels, brakes on most cars. Probably OK for simple work underneath (oil change).

Are you asking if it'll lift the car high enough to put the jack stands underneath?

I would post this under "General Tool Discussion"

Thanks for the help-- I tweaked the question and moved it to the general tool discussion.
