Leaning on some of you guys with more light sheet metal experience....... doing surgery on a Lista cabinet, can I use Clecos with panel bond adhesive? Will I get my clecos back or will it be a struggle? Have not yet worked with PBA, but would like to try to minimize welding on this project, trying to preserve as much original finish as possible.

If you coat the business end of the cleco with grease or something similar, you should be able to pull the cleco back out. I would make sure there was just a thin film around the perimeter of the cleco hole. If you just squish a bunch of it together around that cleco, you might end up having to cut it off with a cutoff disck and drive it through with a punch....which might bend your sheet metal. PBA is really strong stuff.

Sorry to chime in a bit late [I've been away for 3 weeks]

As for your question, I do this myself
The clecos pull out easily and simply keep them squeezed and you can clean them with a wire brush.
When the cleco is clamping, the clearances are so tight that any "glue" doesn't get in them [I don't use any grease / Vaseline on them at all]
