I bought a butterfly impact from a GJ member a while back. I hadn't seen a butterfly before, pretty cool little tool. This one leaked oil but after cleaning it, I replaced two orings and it appears to be working fine ( I have no idea how much torque these things are supposed to have, but this one seems like it's working as expected now ). At least it doesn't drip oil everywhere now
I wasn't able to find any info on this butterfly online. The tag says the model number is CIP 136. I read a little history about the company but little is all I could find. I have a couple of questions I'm hoping members can help me with:
1. What's the approximate age range for this tool?
2. There is a screw where I can fill the head with oil. Do I just use air tool oil to fill it?
Thanks.
