Quick Set reamer

Ive got one Ive been abusing for some time,
... and because its been such a handy thing ... I wouldnt mind keeping it functional.

Heres a random web pic of what they look like.

What I'm wondering is,

Is there still a source in the U.S. to obtain new blades ?

Quick google makes me wonder if they have been discontinued.
Might have to fleabay for parts or replacements.

I agree with leg17, expandable reamers come up on Ebay frequently. I would check that out periodically and I wouldn't be surprised if one shows up.

If you went to a place that grinds tools it would take nothing for them to make you some new blades. Ask a machinist you know if there's a place around you that sharpens end-mills or custom grinds carbides. It would be worth asking them for a price at least.

Wow, I'm in Cleveland and have an old set of adjustable reamers in a wooden slide-top box. I think I know where they came from now......

... but his hourly work rate is more than my weekly grocery bill ..

... a trip to the city might be in order.

Not sure these will fit, but I've looked before for some replacements for a set I have.. haven't pulled the trigger yet. Seems like they would fit (they have both tapered and straight..blade forms).
