I came across this AI translated video and thought it was a clever way to recycle styro-foam. I had seen similar use cases to make glues and putty, just not bruh-on sealants. I dunno how close styrene foam is to urethane foam but do seem to recall styrene staying out in the sun for long w/o much damage. May be a decent option depending on solvent cost.

Not a chemist, just a dumb painter, but I wouldn't consider any polystyrene coating to be UV stable.
seems like there's some foam w/stabilizers which might explain why I've seen some last in the sun....Foam insulation panels for instance. I wonder if in places w/traffic like concrete where you have to resurface every now and then the wear would be faster than UV degradation.

For steel/cast iron/wood that may remain indoors or in the shade, or underground, could still prove useful.
