Clopay Garage Door Help, Broken Bottom Panel.

Hi all, I put up my garage a few years back (7years). I went with a Clopay Coachman series as pictured. I talked to Clopay today and they make this door but they changed the look and no panel replacement parts made. They tell me that the new style is close but I will see a difference. My problem is I have two other doors next to this one. How screwed am I?

Does anyone have a source for something like this? I really need the bottom panel only. Thanks for any help!

It looks to me that it would be fairly easy to replicate if you could get a smooth panel from them.

Yeah problem it's an insulated door bent up pretty good on the inside (long story), my fault. Just called garage door guy to confirm what Clopay told me. I am sunk. Can't believe they would not keep the same style or have replacement parts for a door not all that old?

It is difficult to see from the picture where the problem is with the door. Outside looks fine. If it is the inside that is the problem, how difficult is it to fix and paint?

The inside panel is pretty bent in. What the garage door guy showed me was how the top of panel has lifted so when the two mesh together they don't contact correctly (as it's a tonque and groove type set up on the panels). This is what is making the door bind and not sit right and causing it to reverse. He is going to try calling Clopay in the morning to see if they can help us out.

I would be willing to bet that you can get a door very similar to it. It may not be a perfect match, but there are many variations of doors that style out there, so that is why I am saying you could get one similar.

In most cases when a door gets damaged and there isn't a replacement panel available, you are basically stuck putting a band aid on it. It will get you down the road, but it isn't fixed right. There are some cases where you can put a strut on it and you can get years out of it. Other times it may only be months. It all depends.

If you could post a pic of the actual damage it would help. That way we could see if there is a fix for it or not.
