Just finished closing on this yesterday :bounce::3gears::drool:- it's about 90' wide, and about 35' deep - from left to right: very left small overhead garage door goes into what used to be offices w/ carpeted floor; the small white overhead door to the right and next larger overhead door (door w/ 3 windows) goes into a 33' wide x 35 deep bay (and 10' storage / bathroom / utility area), then the farthest right 2 overhead doors go into a 30' wide x 35 deep bay

fully wired, insulated and tinned on the inside - wood stove in the middle bay (not sure if keeping that or not):headscrat

Lot is 200' x 300' - boardered by a beautiful walking path and it's about 5 blocks from my house:beer:

I've got a Challenger 24012 12,000 lb lift (used and needing some repairs) waiting to be installed in the middle bay

CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW SLICE OF HEAVEN!

Sounds like this place is already set up for a total restoration/painting/storage/man-cave. Does the walking path extend to your home? So close, it'll be an easy stroll anytime you feel the urge; no need to waste any gas getting there. Can the wood stove be converted to accept a more convenient fuel? What are you thinking in the way of security/monitoring? Keep us posted as you make this new place yours!

Answers thus far: It's just a shop building on a large lot - NO house on this lot - lot is zoned commercial -

walking path d/n exend to my house, but the streets are paved (and some sidewalk) goes from my house to this building - no problem walking there, but MAYBE a golf cart should be in the future for transporation???

primary intended purpose is storage, despite the lift that I'll install there; reason - I currently have a pretty good shop / garage right next to my house (my "house shop" area is 24' wide x 30' deep w/ 8' x 24' storage area - but, my "house shop" has a 9' ceiling where as this building has an 11' ceiling - I do plan on changing some oil on the lift at this building - but most of my shop work gets done next to my house in the "house shop"

primary purpose of this building will be for storage - I consider my self the "poster child" for "need more storage space":D - boat, pontoon, vehicles, snowmobiles, etc . . .

the very right hand bay (2 large garage doors w/ no windows on the far right) might be rented out to provide enough $$$ to cover taxes, costs, etc . . .
