Closing the gap

I want to add a mini-split (or two) to my main shop space. I have one in my office currently. The problem I am having is the slot on my roll up door when closed. It is approximately 2 inches wide and 10 feet long or about 1 1/2 sq ft of hole. Anyone have much luck closing this gap? I have tried to use some rubber strips but when the door opens it get torn away. Not sure the brushes would help with the gap but do use them on the sides. Any suggestions?

The brush will slow down the draft which will help. That's what my neighbor did with his roll up doors.
I haven't seen a real good solution on the roll up doors yet but I'm sure someone from GJ will.

The guy that did my spray foam suggested RV slide out gasket. He stated that this is what he always uses.

Any info on the RV gasket?

Contact an RV parts store and see if they have a gasket for a slide out. See if you think it will work for your gap.

Too bad they don't rethunk the door design entirely given the constant move towards energy efficiency for a lot of years already.
I wonder if they could get some sort of auto seal like those 'automatic door bottom' seals on a regular man door, but as the door closes seals on all 4 sides get engaged. Obviously way more complicated than just a door bottom but maybe it just needs some creative brainstorming to the whole approach.

I’m not familiar with how an rv thing would work? I have this situation as well. If the whole roll was Encased in a housing it might be better. Looking for better then brushes.
