Looks to be a little high to me! I only paid $75 more for my big Baldor grinder, and $80 more for the buffer, and I got over 2k in buffs and even a few $$$ grinding wheels with the buffer.

hard to find a single phase baldor in my area. i would pay 150 for it. if it had baldor's stand, i could see 250 range easily. offer 150. if shop is closing, they likely got until end of month to find stuff a new home.

The Internet is a wonderful thing in this day and age; but it is also somewhat of a curse in the fact that years ago without a good search people had to make more of a guess as to price. Today I find when I show up for tool sales most people have gone from the dark ages to the age of "PRICE ENLIGHTENMENT".

The price is somewhat high but a good grinder will fetch good prices.

Thanks for the input everyone. I was wary of the high usage in a shop anyway, and if I go in and offer $175 less than asking, he probably wouldn't take me seriously. Love GJ!!

If on a true baldor stand, I would make a reasonable offer on it after looking at it, but the stand to me is junk and not worth anything. As long as it turns on, runs smooth and has a long coast after shut down, it should last a long time. My two cents.
