Well, for a hundred bucks, it measures both AC and DC current (amps) and that is good, and it is True RMS, which is good but not necessary for most work, but still good, it comes with a temp probe and that is good, So I'd say its a good all around meter for auto and home electric work and troubleshooting.
Read the online reviews. the only downside is the auto ranging and inability to set the range, which sometimes you need to do in addition to the meter doing it. Truth is, for certain types of work, an analog meter is better, I have both now, and am mainly interested for the DC current measuring capability, such as alternator and starter currents.
I was looking at some in the store, and considering the 400 amp one ($59) since it also did AC and DC, but this is a somewhat better meter and is offered online only, and not in stores.
