First time on this forum, actually just found it, from Yesterdays Tractor.

I live in Jacksonville, N.C. which is on the coast, halfway between Wilmington and New Bern. I am 71 years old and retired from auto parts after 46 years. My hobby is old tractors. I have been fortunate enough to restore an 8N Ford. Due to a couple of problems with my legs and back I have had to slow down considerably.

Looking forward to being a part of you and your board.

Welcome!

I have many fond memories around my grandpas '52 8N in NC. Sadly, I didn't have the money nor space for it when the estate sale came around. If you ever come across an 8N with a shifter knob made from dyed red epoxy in the shape of a baby food jar, that was probably my grandpa's tractor!

Welcome. I'm just up the road from you in Havelock. Those old 8N's are pretty neat. We had an old Fordson at the ranch. Not sure what model it was. We mainly ran Farmall's and Allis Chalmers in the hayfields back in Nebraska.
