I bought these, for probably $20 (my limit for questionable garage purchases)

I've actually used one twice which is a win for an oddball tool lol

DON'T USE THEM!
If you are in a situation where these will work, you might as well just go on and off. The mechanism for me is awful and these are never used except as a hammer or wedge.

Your experience may be different but I would not get them just to have.

I couldn't flip them over to get another grip. In the places where you might need open ends, they don't work. If gave them away.

The main problem with these wrenches and the ratcheting open end, is that you have to be square parallel with the faster head flat for it to work worth a flip. Come at it off angle perpendicular and it slips.

Gimmick tool to give to meterosexuals who only have to deal with putting together IKEA furniture.

IKEA? What is this IKEA you speak of?

I think that the sole market for these was people that were mislead into thinking that they were Gearwrench-style ratcheting wrenches.

BTW, Ikea has few items, if any, that use hex head fasteners. I've been there lots of times, and actually enjoy putting together their kits. Usually with power tools. I have no metro-****** inclinations. For years I didn't go into a Pottery Barn because I didn't need pottery. The metrosexuals that I know wouldn't be caught dead in Ikea. Much like in Fight Club, they would deny that something came from there.

Much like any Craftsman wrench, they're second rate. There are multiple design differences between those and the speed wrenches by SO. Those work when you would otherwise have to repeatedly flip a wrench or just go off and on.

Have a USA made set. Worked great on my motorcycle in hard to reach spots. If you have the cash for a fine tooth ratcheting wrench there is no point. But these worked for me

Work like a charm under countertops to tighten drawbolts. If you don't spend any time under counters, - See Above

i have a full set of the old USA raised panel versions and its the last open end i will look for to use. they work, but you need to take your time. i can flip a regular wrench faster with more confidence in my work.
