The -V- date code with the part # would date the socket after 1975 up to 1986. The sticker looks like something from the '70s to me.

Nice find.

The GG forum has an extensive list that is continuously updated on the first page of the thread as new info is confirmed. The original poster, and other members have done a lot of exhaustive research to compile it, since Craftsman doesn't seem to release that info.

There is also a similar thread for MAC and S-K.

That is pretty cool. Set that sucker up on the shelf/hang it on the wall or something. Nothing terribly special by any means, but pretty cool that it is still labeled. Maybe that's just something I would do to display it, but I like old stuff.

I think I will. I have a whole spark plug set. So I'll just display this, haha.
