CNC lathe

I built this lathe for my CNC router years ago for a run of chairs with turned legs. Got it out again this week for some table legs. Its made from some scrap 1 1/4 square tube. and other materials I had laying around 4 flange bearings support the arbor and a metal lathe live center holds up the back.

A rotary indexer is more versatile but cant beat the simplicity of this.

I put them on my regular lathe to sand them up.

Thanks guys I am in the process of building a new cnc I will post a thread on that in a while. It will be more for my furniture making with integrated pneumatic clamps for holding parts. Should be a tighter more accurate machine. Frame and guides are all made.
