CNC Router recommendations?

I'm getting ready to buy a CNC router; 4 x 8 or 5 x 10 depending on final price. I've got a product in mind to manufacture. It won't be me running the equipment everyday, but someone who will know what the are doing. Any strong recommendations? I've already got one for the Industrial CNC brand. BTW, not sure my wallet can stand the ShopBot budget, LOL.

I ran a biesse skill 1536 for three years. Now I'm programming it. It is a very accurate machine and had no problem running fast feeds.

Check out Shop Sabre. I ordered one of their CNC Plasma Tables that will accept a Router too. I expect it to be here any day.

That Shop Saber looks nice, they seem to have thought out the package pretty well. Let us know what you think of it once it arrives.

I use shopbots, but I've never used a Shop Sabre.

If the cost of a Shop Bot is an issue, than I would think a Sabre would be an issue as well!

Note that F N 27 ended up donating his Shop Saber... it is consider a industry standard for light industrial / DIY. Its a fine machine, but there is better.

Keep in mind I donated it because my expectation of Plasma did not pan out. Did exactly what it should just my experience with Lasers had me tainted.

There is always something better...than what you have. I found that out...but that is what determines the meaning of the word "Goals". I traded my innocence for knowledge...for now I am wise.

Get educated in your pursuit. And the solution will come...just maybe not on the first attempt.

Starlab builds some nice stuff.

Focus on the Programming Software. Programming is the key to CNC success.

OP, what did you buy?

I did not end up buying anything for now. Life changes, we have decided to relocate to Southern CA. Not sure if I can afford a place big enough to have a shop or room to build one. Time will tell.
