Hey guys, Thought I'd step into this forum and see if anyone has any experience with wall mounted, propane boilers labeled Coaire or Quietside. Unfortunately I had one of these POS units installed in my home to heat the water for my radiant floors.
After less than 5 years use it is failing and to make matters worse, the South Korean manufacturer has gone bankrupt so parts are no longer available so I'm faced with replacing it.
I'm interested in whether anybody has heard of this manufacturer, what kind of rep they have or anything else you might know. I trusted my installer to select a reputable brand and I'm becoming convinced he sold my a substandard unit.
I'm aware of the 2014 recall for fire hazards - which I didn't find out about until this morning when I started doing a bit of research.
Yup, I ran the thing for 5 years with no idea it could burn my house down.......Well not really. It's all concrete after all but still.
Anybody have anything they can tell me?
