Coating concrete steps?

Right now I have wooden steps, but plan to pour a set of concrete ones soon.

I'm also planning on coating the floor with Epoxy-Coat. Is it possible to coat the steps in Epoxy-Coat? Should I just paint them instead?

Obviously whatever I do, I need to wait until they have fully cured...
