I'm finishing up a new shop that is built into the hillside of my home. It is essential a daylight poured foundation with concrete roof. With the exception of the garage doors the entire thing will be underground.
This will be a Fab shop for me, do I'm going densifier on the floor to keep down dust and to avoid worrying about things like weld splatter.
My question relates to the walls and ceiling. I would prefer to paint them to brighten up the space (recall, no windows and no natural light), but don't know what to use. The color will be light or white.
Given the size, I would like to spray with an airless sprayer which would rule out something like Dryloc.
I'm assuming latex won't work as it may discolor due to leaching of the concrete.
Do I simply use a garage floor paint **** as something from Behr?
Any suggestions? Taking to painting contractors had been less than helpful as I've yet to get the same advice twice.
Thanks
Vin
