I'm getting started on my new shop, all workshop are for woodworking and metalworking hobbies. I will have one 'room' about 200 sq/ft that will have milling machine and metal lathe. I'm wondering what coating if any would be good in that area.

Ideally, I'd like to make it easy to clean and sweep. This area will have metal chips all over it which could be an abrasion issue for any coating. Also looking for something resistant to oils and cutting fluids.

Wondering about Armopoxy, or similar products. I don't think I want to waste my time with hardware store products.

Suggestions? Anyone have a shop floor coating they use in a similar place?

I'm getting ready to apply densifier and covertec u140 on my floor for several reasons. It's a working floor that sees everything from general automotive to major metal fabrication projects aswell as fiberglass and wood work. I couldn't imagine spending close to 2$a square foot just to cringe everytime i scratch or burn it. I'll have around 35 cents a sqft in it. It should provide the protection from staining im after aswell as general abrasion resistance and is easily recoated
