I purchased a 14' x 32' shed that should be delivered in the next couple of weeks. It will be sitting on a gravel pad. It is the "garage" upgrade so has 12" on center joists and a garage door, plus a bunch of other options we have. I will be storing random stuff in there, plus our side-by-side and zero-turn mower. This isn't going to be any type of workshop - strictly storage. But no better time to coat the floor than when it is brand new.

Flooring is Advantech 50-year flooring: https://www.huberwood.com/advantech/subflooring

What floor paint/coating would you use? I'm not looking to spend a fortune or a ton of time on it, but something I can get done relatively quickly that will result in a finish I only need to touch up every few years would be preferred.

I would recommend a couple coats of a single-part polyurea. There is no mixing of two parts and it applies just like paint. It's an extremely durable coating that will last for years. We list the vendors we recommend, including where to purchase their products here. They all have the option to purchase just the color coat and not an entire kit with clear coat and color flakes.

Subflooring materials are typically treated with preservatives and resin bonding agents during the manufacturing process. You will need to rough up the surface with 80-grit sandpaper to remove these lingering agents on the surface, which could interfere with adhesion.

Pour a 4 gallon kit of our DecoFX 1115 clear epoxy onto your floor and call it a day! We've had quite a few customers do this to their gardening and car trailers with great success. They love it!
