I've been following alot of the epoxy floor coating threads on the forum for the last 2-3 months, and have finally made my decision. I decided to go with Epoxy Coat brand, ordered two kits to do my 24X36 shop floor. I cleaned and etched the floor with muriatic acid before I went out of town a couple weeks ago, but I was afraid it wasn't good enough, so I did it again yesterday using the chamicals in the Epoxy Coat kit. Should be ready to go now. We're getting rain today and early tomorrow, so I'm thinking Thursday will be the day, taking the afternoon off from work to do it. Should be low humidity (rare in Houston) and temps around 60F in the afternoon.
I went with their beige color to match the exterior of the building, and I'm not going to use chips, I just want a solid color.
When it's done I'll post some pics and any new lessons learned, if there are any, you guys have done a great job of posting tips and lessons learned on the Forum.
Wish me luck!
