I came across this jewel yesterday and just could resist.

Good machines, I repaired countless flat tires on one growing up in our service station. My FIL still has one, but it jumps all at once and will hurt you.

I changed a lot of tires on one of those back when I worked for Firestone years ago. Pretty much the standard of the industry then.

I'm asking this because of the possibility of a You ****.---
What did it cost you?

When are you going to get a balancer? :)

I bought one years ago for like $300. Between demolition derbies and circle track racing, it paid for itself. Can’t go wrong if you got it cheap enough.

I think that grabs on the edge of the wheel like my old 10-10 to pop the front bead off,
just be careful with aluminum wheels if it does.

Sometimes you can work around it,
but mostly you end up scratching the wheels (if it operates like my old machine did).

Great machines but they have their limitations.

I hope you have a big compressor, I have the old 10-10 and it uses a crapton of air.

I have a 40-40a , a similar machine, and have used it on everything I have ( except some 2006 plastic covered aluminum pt cruiser wheels ) up to 2015. Aluminum or not. You can buy some plastic attachments to slip over the bar to protect the wheels.
