Hello, im new to this forum and will be checking it daily. I have a question about a 4050A coats tire changer. I will be buying a new compressor for my garage and am hoping it will be big enough to run the changer. will only use once in a while. Will a 60 gal ingersoll rand, @135 psi and an 18 csm run this changer.

or should i go for a 80 gal tank, 17 cfm and 175 psi. I would perfer to get the smaller one..does anyone know if this will work, not using this coats changer daily.

I think I have the same machine. I have mine hooked up to a small 1/2hp, 90 psi,10 gallon tank and probably about 4 cfm compressor and it works fine.
Edit; Its the same machine. Using dish detergent helps dismount and mount.
