I picked up this for $20 today at a divorce sale.
Poor fell his wife was dumping everything.

I picked up some torque wrenches and pullers as well.

I believe it is a 3 ton. works smooth.

Anyone have any details on COATS. A quick google search didn't bring up much.

nice looking jack. the only thing i know about coats is they sell shop equpmint or tire service. id like to know more though since i have a old 20-20 tire machine

I'm away from home currently but I'm sure it's not 3 ton, that style was sold under a few different brands including coats and watco. Looks pretty good for $20... I just rebuilt one <3 months ago, IRC It may only be 1 1/2 ton, maybe 2 ton. I'll verify when I get home. I know it's deceiving because of its length and heft, that's just how things where done back in the day.

You are correct. After cleaning her up a bit I found the 1.5Ton label.

She is a beast and works great.
