Picked up a used 5060EX for my shop. The issue I am having is when I put on a rim and the arm starts removing the tire, the rim pops off the clamp. I have tried putting rags over the feet, it kinda helped but it's still not working 100%.

I removed a 15" 235 tire but now am trying to remove a 285/75 16 and running into the problem.

I am using a smaller compressor - 20 gal- which I will be upgrading, but I would still expect it to hold.

Any ideas on how to address this? Do I need new feet/claw? It looks like Coats sells the below. Has anyone this and did it fix this issue? Or should I be looking somewhere else?

Coats recommends 15CFM to run that machine, I think. It could be that the clamps are worn or the ram is leaking. You could also try clamping it from the outside.
