Cobra RD 12'' planer

I just bought this planer last week-end and I can not find any info on the machine, somebody on a different forum came up with the make Cobra RD, do someone else have photos or info on this planer.

First off old woody needs some more background information.

Like playing Sherlock Holmes all machines give off some good clues so see if you can find a tag/ nameplate on the motor and write that down for us.

You did not list your location are you from overseas, making that planer built for that market?

When you say someone on another forum, what was the name of that other Forum?

Pictures help but if not available can you find something that looks somewhat like your planer and do a cut & paste for us to look at.

Maybe someone else has heard of that planer but I am in the dark at this time and date.

Woody just added my location and the other forum was the Canadian Woodworking forum, and also posted a pictures.

Vintage machinery has one just like mine Under RD industries but no info at all on the planer. I am still looking...

Yes I did Woody, but he sold it years ago and don't remember to who and he did not take photos when he had it.

Just started today taking it apart for a restoration, I am taking a lot of pictures as I go along, I want to make sure that I have everything in order, this will make things easier when I put it back together.

That RD industries doesnt look much like yours....I would try OWWM
