According to approved plan the underneath of the panel area i can just tie wrap pv wire to rails. The solar combiner boxes would be more convenient inside instead of on the roof. If they are on the roof they are too tall/fat to fit under the panels (about 4"). If i collect the 10awg pv into the 3/4 emt conduit so i can deal with the connections inside... is there an approved gland at the end of the emt on the roof or will it absolutely require a junction box up there? Similar question on the interior side - can the wires just exit the EMT open air to the connectors?

Thanks in advance! The wires will carry about 100vdc @ 10 amps per pair.

Depending on your jurisdiction:
1. Connect rain-tight 3/4 EMT connector.
2. Thread into 3/4" rigid coupler (threaded coupler)
3. Thread a 3/4 metallic strain relief into the coupler.

The only caveat is that you can only get 1 conductor per pipe.
