I been wiring my own stuff since I was a sprout, not without guilt of doing some cobble jobs and more than a few things not right. I have a ton of stuff. Over last several years have been picking them off, I have a few to go.

One being the typical farm and using things at hand is several range outlets with a mixture and adapters, etc where they should be grounding outlets. Not everyone terminates at service main either, on 4 wire remote panels etc. I know how its done but it isn't right either (not so bad as say air comps are on main panel etc but I wonder where to shop for a deal on recepts, maybe end caps and even cords with cap etc.

As it is now its kind of painful, last little circuit add or mod cost 30 more in parts, probably need a dozen of each, maybe more. I would probably have better incentive to actually doing it if I coughed up 500 at once and got it over with, ha. Whats the best price a guy gets them for at the wholesale house?

I did that with gfci once, bought 3 dozen on sale.

Is this a question or a statement?

I got a few GFCIs for $5 on amazon, they were on closeout, some ugly color.

If they were some off-breed brand you paid $5.00 too much, a giveaway is when the package says, "UL Approved". (UL does not approve anything, they "list" it.) "Hazard Fraught" had really cheap GFCI receptacles.
