I use to buy Dunkin Donuts' brand, but their customer service has driven me away. I'm currently taking a tour of some new brands. McDonalds has their coffee in stores now, so I'm going thru a bag of McCafe breakfast blend right now in search of my "new" normal..

About 2 years ago I bought a super fancy Cuisinart (which as best as I can tell does everything the coffee snob drip brewer does just for $90 rather than $150+) and the coffee is definitely better as compared to your average machine. Has a 2 hour auto shutdown so you don't have to worry about burning it up as well.

Typically I drink Caribou coffee breakfast brend although lately I have been buying the Safeway select Hazelnut creme.

If I ever found the right french press I would use that on the weekends but I don't have the attention span for it.

For the garage I just use my Thermos brand $5 cup. About an hour of hot coffee and 3 hours before its to cold to drink.

My shop is attached to my house so no need for a separate coffee maker, plus it's fun to pester my wife for a couple minutes if I need a cup of coffee.

We have a couple free Gevalia coffee pots and a Keurig. I liked all the options and single serving concept of the Keurig but it got too expensive to use with my wife and I each drinking a couple cups a day minimum. So we tried the refillable K-cup but it's pointless if more than one person wants coffee and it doesn't brew as good of coffee vs the regular coffee maker. So we went back to brewing a pot twice a day with the free Gevalia coffee maker.

Brand of choice is Gobena from www.gobena.org (I am not affiliated) it tastes better than most coffee and it supports an orphanage so it's a win-win for me. If we run out of Gobena we'll grab some New England coffee from Walmart until the next batch of Gobena comes in.

Our local Costco has their "local" brand (San Francisco Coffee Co.) that's still cheap; we get the dark oily beans (french roast), grind it ourselves, and run it through our always-on Mr. Coffee.

And I like my coffee like a coworker likes her men - Strong, Black, and Bitter as hell...

We got a Keurig at my old workplace, but I had 2 issues - the "good" pods would go first, leaving us with some flavored "stuff", and I could never find one I really liked. I started bringing a thermos - and that, as they say, was that!

My coffee pot is a Krups FME2, as is my "new" teapot FL401.. And since my garage workshop and basement workshop is joined by a kitchen.. I'm good with these being in that in-between space.

Well, I'm trailer trash so I don't have a garage.
In my shop, I have a cheap Mr. Coffee, dripper, cooking up Kroger brand breakfast blend coffee.
I tried Starbucks twice, but was not impressed.
I actually prefer the taste of percolated coffee over dripped.

Bunn.
Use filtered water, and you will never have to clean it. And the coffee tastes better.
I just take an insulated travel mug to the garage or shop.
I don't know how anyone can drink Folgers.
I don't know why anyone would choose the Kuerig type little cups, unless you are TRULY going to drink only one cup of coffee. I can make a whole pot of good premium coffee for the cost of that one cup.
Sam's has some good premium coffee. We alternate. I also like to grind my own Millstone beans sometimes. I like good coffee.

Wow. Very few fussing up to owning a Keurig. I have one at home and one in my office. Newmans Own Special. Good stuff.

I typically use a french press or a percolator on the stove but my wife just came home with a Keurig 2.0 maker about an hour ago. It was the display model at the grocery store but hadn't been used, she paid $25. It makes decent coffee and should save me a bit of time on my way out the door in the morning.

No thanks. I won't pay $4.00 at Fourbucks Coffee for a $1.00 cup of coffee. Why would I want to pay more than $1.00 a cup at home when I can make it from fresh ground beans for about $.10 a cup?

I'm told if you shop around you can get the K cups for $.50 apiece. I'm a cheapskate but at this point in my life (high pressure job, 3 kids under the age of 6, too many responsibilities to even think about all my projects) the convenience is worth a buck a day to me. Someday when life isn't moving so fast (it does slow back down again doesn't it??) I'll probably go back to the percolator again.

I'm a k cup guy... Can't justify making a whole pot of coffee when I only want one cup. I buy in bulk from San Francisco Coffee... Fog Cutter is my flavor of choice.

I have NEVER paid a dollar a k cup....thats nuts! Just bought Donut House k cups at the store this afternoon for 38.8¢ a k cup!
