Cold and Damp Floor

I built my 24x32 shop 10 years ago, and of course I find GJ recently.
Go figure

I noticed that many builds here have either underslab plactic sheeting or insulation. Mine has nothing. I do have a gas shop heater from the cieling but find when I'm under the car on my back it's still pretty cold. In the summer it's not so bad, it's like airconditioning (damp).

The floor is still bare concrete, so what can I do to seal out the moisture coming through the floor? What would be the most effective? Never been painted, have also heard of some paint/coatings peeling or lifting. Don't want that.

Any suggestions?

Check out a product called Radonseal. I think you should be able to google it up with no problem. I have used it to good effect myself.

If properly applied, you can paint over it. I used a solvent based penetrating paint from Top Secret Coatings. This paint is also considered a sealer, but without the Radonseal, I would not have trusted it.

The Radonseal website has extensive Q&A sections, and it vapor seals concrete by seeping into the capillary pores and causing the concrete to form additional limestone crystals in the pores that vapor travels through, effectively blocking them.

Very nice people, told them my problem and they tell me it'll work for what I need.
