My Quincy pressure oil lubed compressor is located in a cold garage. What are your thoughts about starting it up to fill the tank with air? I have a slow leak on one of my tractor tires, and I have to air it up every snow storm. I would replace the tire, but it is on backorder from the manufacturer.

Oil thickening is going to be your problem if you have one. If your concerned put a heat lamp or regular bulb near the compressor head to warm the oil a bit and you should be good to go. Do you have a winter oil in it?
