I have a chance to pick up four of these Cole Steel 27 drawer cabinets. They're asking $150 each or $400 for all of them. One of them is missing seven drawers which is odd. What do you guys think?

Negotiate $300 for the whole lot . . . . 3 cabinets of 27 drawers each (except one set has 7 drawers missing). That get's you to average $100 each which is fair.

Good luck.

Looking at the pictures I hope they took the pictures the day they got them and they aren't sitting outside or something. We've had quite a few rain and snow days here. I'm going to call them tomorrow. With my business I always offer a trade for some audio work or a remote starter. I got my Mac three drawer tool cart that way. Traded a remote starter for it. I had $45 in parts and took me an hour to install it. We were both happy :)

Mixed feelings on those. They can be handy for misc parts, but can also very easily become a catch all for junk. If you have a specific need and place for them I guess, but I personally think a standard tool box or a lista type with dividers would be a better storage solution. To me it sounds like they actually have 5 of them including the one that is missing the 7 drawers. :dunno:

I don't know if that's a good price or not, because this one I have in my basement shop was given to me. Mine do have a little surface rust here and there.

The more I read the listing it's a little confusing. Do they have four or five? Here's the craigslist ad for them. I'll hit them up about them. For my garage I'm going to be building a mezzanine in it for my hobbies such as RC planes, models and other things. I think these would be handy for some of that stuff. If I did get them I'd probably have my buddy blast them and powercoat them all one color for me. He does stuff for me all the time.

F/S vintage industrial Cole Steel 27 drawer storage cabinet. Very good condition, well taken care of. A great addition to your office, man cave, den, library, garage, local hangout. Each cabinet has 27 drawers to store your stuff in. These came out of a jewelry store so they haven't been abused or beat on. I have 2 gray ones left and 2 green one, and one green one that's missing about 7 drawers, but still in great condition. That one will sell for a considerable amount less. Get them while there around they are going fast!
$150 each buy more than 1 and we can make a deal on both, or buy all four 4
$400 for all of them

I also scored a bunch of these from a lady for $50 that will be handy for all my little things. This is about a third of them

What? Do you have a picture or make on that? I've never seen a unit with a drawer layout of that style with slides of any sort. :headscrat:
