When I bought my new house, I purchased some Coleman Cabinets for storage in the garage. They look nice, but since I don't have a toolbox, I use the drawer bases for tool storage. They didn't hold up very well with the weight of the tools in them, plus they are too deep to keep the tools organized in them.
I made two drawers at 4 inches deep and replace one drawer with them. I think they turned out pretty nice and will be doing the same thing on at least two more of them. I did a little more of a write-up on my blog.
