Could anyone give me an idea on the age of this vise?

Left side reads: Columbian

Right side reads: The Columbian vise & mfg co. Cleveland USA No. 505 (stamped)

I have completely disassembled the vise and can not find any other markings.

See attached pictures. Thanks!

Big Blue: as far as I know I don't recall Columbian dating their vises so you'd have to find catalog pages which may or may not be available. I concur with Rusty on the general age of your big old vise.

If you are going to be grinding or cutting on top of your vise you might want to move your compressor under the other side of the bench or put a sheet over it.

also WELCOME TO GJ and hope you are able to find a few threads that interest you so we can get to know you as you get to know us.

cheers!!!
