I was at a Harbor Freight store last weekend and saw that they had color coded sockets. It wasn't just a groove though, it was the whole socket. Kind of reminded me of the Skittles candy approach to tools in the toolbox.

i have seen there sockets and while it's a awesome idea. It just makes the tools look cheesy. Wera has color bands around there sockets which is where i got the idea from but it doesnt look cheesy like the HF sockets.

I would just buy the Wera socket set but to get 7mm through 22mm 3/8" drive would cost over 110 bucks. I already have Several full socket sets. So i can't logically justify the purchase (i am a tool junky so i guess i could if i wanted to) But we shall see.
