Hope to be ready to put paint on the walls in a week or so. I am currently kicking around the flooring and wall color schemes. Just looking for any input, and also any pictures of something similar.

The shop is 50x50. Walls are 19' high. The back 1/4 25x25 is my tool room, restroom, shower, etc... In the main shop I am looking to do either the Wolverine sealer on the floor which will make it a darker grey color for the floor overall.

Alternately I am considering a lighter grey color on the floor if I did an expoy instead (no flakes, and a glossy finish).

On the walls I was thinking about doing a darker charcoal grey on the lower part of the wall (to better hide dirt, etc...), but not paint the walls black. Above the black I'd probably have a small break (like 1"-2") and do a red stripe on the wall as an accent color. The rest of the way up would be white.

I had considered running the stripe at 42" where my receptacles are, and just doing a red that matched the red receptacles and wall plates I can buy. I wasn't sure if that was too busy, and I'd be better off just putting the strip above the receptacles.

Anyway, any input is appreciated.

Mind posting some pictures if I can see a visual I can help. A dark color scheme isn't a bad choice to prevent dirt marks from showing but it will make your shop very dark if not well lit. I would post some pictures and some color palette.
