personally i would just use it as is, but if you want to make it red get some spray paint and go to town.

I always thought stuff like that looked cool painted factory colors--as in if it was a cart at an assembly plant of...whatever your favorite brand of something

What you do depends on your skill/commitment level when it comes to painting.

As a hack painter, I'd keep in mind that it's going to chip dark. So I'd go with a very similar color to the one that's already there.

Her??? ;):D

Unless you want to go to town on that prep wise, a nice cleaning and sanding would be good enough for a hammertone rattle can finish.

Do you have a current shop color scheme or are you wanting to start one? I agree with Jack about keeping it somewhat dark, but you can 2-tone it by doing the legs in another color.

Plastic dip? How would you apply that? Maybe I don't understand what product you have in mind. I would put a mat in the tray(s).

BTW, nice buy for ten bones/

I just bought some black rust-oleum, witch was already on it. sanded and cleaned up the runs in the paint and touched up on it some. Just going to leave it alone.
