Colorado Springs Pole Barn Builders?

My family will likely be relocating to the Colorado Springs/Falcon/Peyton/Black Forest area of Colorado area in the next year or so (we are just north of Denver now), and I will have the opportunity to build my dream shop. I will likely be looking at a 32x48x16' w/ mezzanine, give or take (hopefully not take).

I figure it is never too early to start planning, so I am trying to find some local pole barn builders.
A quick search shows All Specialty Buildings, Barn-Tec, and Barns by Lawson are all local. As are the standard Cleary and Morton.

Has anyone used any of these local guys? Or do you have others to recommend? I want to start comparing buildings, the techniques/materials they use, warranty, etc. up front, so I will be ahead of the game when we purchase the property. I plan on having this building for the next 60 years, so I want to get it right!

I am building in Monument this summer, after talking to all the ones you listed above, except Morton and Clearly (they never called my back after multiple voicemails/emails).

I went with National Barn Mountain Division (http://mountain.nationalbarn.com/), Tim has been great. We should be breaking ground on that in April.

Barn-Tec was a run by a good guy, lots of advice from him. It seemed he built more of a stick building with a pole-barn foundation, he was not fond of permits/plans, etc. I live in the county but still have a local building department and I am not zoned 'Ag' so I require engineered plans, inspections, etc. If you end up zoned 'Ag' you do not need any of that (assuming you say the use of the building is something Ag related, e.g. not a garage). He was also more focused on horse barns than workshops, I needed the later.

Barns by Lawson is located in northern Colorado... I wanted someone local so if I had a problem it was easy to get a fix, not someone that needed to drive 2+ hrs to get to the Springs.

All Specialty Buildings was hard to get ahold of and when I did, their 'estimate' of a price was about 2.5 times my budget.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but the search function is sadly lacking a way to search for threads started by a particular member. At least I couldn't figure out how to do it. If someone could clue me in...

Anyway, I too, would like to find out about members' experiences with garage/pole barn builders local to the Springs area.

I had a pole barn built in Grand County in 2019 and used National Barn Company out of the Springs. As others have mentioned, getting quotes was difficult and then some quotes were crazy $$. Bob (the barn builder) is who I worked with and he answered all my questions and worked through the design I had. He provided stamped plans that matched the needed snow and wind loading. I used the plans for the county building permit and they supported the building inspections during the process. All in all, it is a great building for a great price.

If I was building new I'd be looking at a SIPS building.

Avoid Cleary, very suspect business practices. They've been sued multiple times by their own employees, couldn't imagine what they're pulling with customers. Unfortunately besides using 3 2x6 to make any poles exposed to the sun instead of a timber, thats about what I know for Colorado pole barn builders.

I've had that bad experience with Cleary. Had to abandon ship due to permit issues they should have known about and ended up with a very expensive set of plans.
