Ok I figured that all the gun rants would be pulled some time or another...so here you go...a real AR tool...lol

I'm always looking for a reason to buy new tools. What is this tool used for? When I was in the Army I could take my M-16 apart with no tools. I could also take my friend's AR-15 apart with no tools. Also looking to get a new AR type rifle before the S**t hits the fan. What brand AR do you own?

That is an armorer's tool. Regular soldiers don't have access to that.

Colts and have 1 bushmaster left...all my buddy's raided the safe at the shop this week in the stupid panic...so out 9 of them..lol.

The tool is for taking off your barrel which you can not do in the field...that is remove it from your upper reciver...that you need a tool for..also makes sure you head space is correct. If your going to get one get a Colt...better resale value and if it really does end up being ban that one is worth the most...case in hand the last ban on the weapon.
