Columbia Vice Vintage - which model?

Hi hoping someone could help me - I am not that knowledgeable about vises but picked this up at a yard sale today. I liked it because of the large plates. Was just curious if this has a name, model number and what it was actually designed for? I paid 20.00 so feel like it was a good deal.

The turn screw is about 17.5" long. The jaws are 10"
