ORD: nice looking vise. I had one almost exactly like it that I traded a member for his reed because he needed the deeper jaws. mine were also missing the pipe jaws and like we've said many times on the big vise thread they are all in Area 51 or maybe they were melted down for WWII.

I'm not sure your vise is 1940's but it's probably older than I am and i'm 60.

it's a beast and I think one of the members has a drawing for the pipe jaws for your vise if you might want to make some.

DIF, thanks for the info, had no idea it could be that old. Nice to know about the pipe jaws too!
