Columbian swivel vise

Bought this vise at a garage sale this weekend D4 D54. Tried searching online and I haven’t been able to find any history on this. It’s made in the USA, marked D4 D54 and has 4.5” jaws Does anyone know when this vise was produced.

It says USA on it?

If yes it must be the last of that style before it became an import. Those used to be decent utility vises but they kept shrinking the bodies down to nothing until it's barely a vise anymore.

What year did they quit making them inthe US?

I have no idea. Maybe 10 or 15 years? That's a total guess based on nothing.

I have this model vise from 1997. It's the Columbian D4 D54 Vise with 4.5" Jaws. I'm actually looking for replacement jaws if anyone knows where I could find some that would be awesome.
