Columbian 603 1/2 vise that has been in the family as long as anyone can remember.

Any way to determine the age or range of manufactured year? Less info available than for the Wilton bullet vises.

Aprox value?

Thanks,

David

Columbian's don't have the value, especially compared to overpriced Wilton bullets. The older ones have curved lettering on opposite side. Later ones use the M1-M3, after model size. I'm guessing yours is from late 40's-60's. Great working vise, don't get love they deserve. Hollow jaw towers make them strong, but everyone thinks mass makes things stronger.
