It would be helpful to see a pic with the jaws closed. As I see it, unless the camera lens is playing tricks, the tower supporting the dynamic jaw does not seem straight up and down compared to the static jaw tower. Hard to tell if the slide has been reattached to the dynamic jaw tower. Factory jobs are NOT smooth in that area.
Are you considering buying that vise?

IMG_0740.JPGI am considering it. 60 bucks seems reasonable. There is no picture with jaws closed. Top view and side view

Wow, that thing has been abused. Hacksaw scars, beam used as an anvil, and weld to static jaw tower. I wouldn't pay 60 for it, maybe 10. I like columbians, but I'd stay away from that one.

This vise is shot. Someone welded the jaw on the poor thing after using it as an anvil and a saw bench. Don't waste your money on this thing. Find something else.
